Tom Enders is the chief executive of Airbus; he has held this position since 2007.[1][2] He previously worked at DASA.
He studied at the University of Bonn and at UCLA.[3]
For the first few years of EADS's history, it had two separate chief executives – one French, one German. Enders has since taken sole leadership. In July 2010, he argued that integration of European defense industries would deliver far better outcomes than protectionism.[4]
In November 2010, he performed a paradrop from the A400M.[5]
He is also chairman of BDLI, the German aerospace industry association.[6]
